Miss Lundy started dancing when she was 6 years old and continued her training at Nesta Brookings and The Royal Ballet School, graduating in 1983 with The Royal Ballet School Teaching Diploma, Benesh Teaching Certificate and Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher Status. Whilst dancing as a Cecchetti Scholar, Miss Lundy was awarded the Junior and Senior Mabel Ryan Awards, The Nancy Graham Award (most promising Junior Scholar) and the Sally Stewart Award (most promising Senior Scholar). Miss Lundy has always loved teaching and started her dance school in 1984.  To develop her understanding of young children, she trained as Montessori Directress and since 1997 has run her own Montessori School in South West London. Miss Lundy is a mentor and practical teaching supervisor for the RAD.

Chloe Chapman ISTD DDE Ballet, Tap and Modern

Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance Teacher 

Chloe started her training at the Deborah Capon School of Dance, before joining Bird’s College. At Bird’s, Chloe studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Acting. She returned to Deborah Capon to gain her teaching qualifications with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and also became a part of the TapAttack Associate Squad.

Tap, Modern, Ballet Dance Teacher Festival Coaching

Sage began dancing at the age of 2 in Perth, Australia. She trained in Modern, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, National and Contemporary Dance before moving to London to pursue career in dance. Over the course of twelve years she performed in touring musicals, operas, pantomimes, on cruise ships, in numerous films and TV shows and as a backing dancer for singers, as well as working as a choreographer and assistant choreographer. Sage organises the festival registrations and routines for Frances Lundy School of Dance as well as teaching Tap, Modern and Ballet.

Maisie Alexandra Byers BA (Hons) Ballet Education, ARAD, LRAD, RTS

Ballet Teacher and Festival and Examination Coaching

Maisie studied at the Royal Academy of Dance, gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Ballet Education and registered teacher status. Alongside the degree programme, Maisie gained a Distinction in the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance, the highest award associated with the Academy, and accomplished her Advanced 2 in Ballet. Maisie loves teaching a range of ages and abilities and has experience teaching all RAD syllabus from Pre Primary through to Advanced 2 and entering students for Graded and Vocational exams.

Maisie founded Semaphore Ballet Company, a Ballet Company recognised and supported by the Royal Academy of Dance. Maisie acts as the Artistic Director and Ballet Mistress for the Company while working with Local artists, Musicians and film makers/photographers to produce Ballet and Contemporary Choreography. Maisie feels passionately about providing opportunities for future Dancers, Artists and Teachers, and hopes, through teaching, to promote appreciation of Ballet and provide an inclusive, creative and supportive Ballet Education.

Isadora Wainwright

Aerobic Gymnastics Coach and Children’s Party Manager

Isadora trained at Frances Lundy School of Dance from 2 years of age, in Ballet, Tap and Modern. She took her graded examinations in all styles and at 14, successfully auditioned for The Brit School, staying there until she was 16. At the same time, Isadora was also a member of the British Aerobic Gymnastic Team, achieving British Champion status and travelling to many countries competing as an individual, trio and six team. Isadora has first class honours degree in Psychology and Criminology and is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Kings College London.

Lucy Chester

Tap and Modern Dance Teacher

Lucy is a fully qualified ISTD (DDE) Tap and Modern dance teacher. She started dancing at a young age training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop and Contemporary at Vanessa Golborn School of Dance. She went on to complete a BA (Hons) Dance studies degree in London and after danced in the commercial industry around the world before becoming a teacher. 

Gaelle Cousins

Saturday Receptionist

Gaelle looks after our Reception area on Saturdays. She is able to take registrations, examination entries, workshop bookings and party bookings. She can be contacted on our studio number (020 8994 3064) during her reception hours and is happy to speak to you in English, French or German! During the week, Gaelle, who is a qualified Montessori Directress, works at The Montessori School in Balham.

Marina Flores

Ballet Teacher RTS

Marina started dancing at the Professional Conservatory of Seville (Spain), before moving to Zaragoza to continue her training in ballet and contemporary dance at the Maria de Avila Dance Studio. At the same time, she had the chance to participate in numerous courses and masterclasses around Europe and the US. Marina has performed in excerpts from the great ballets of the classical repertoire: Giselle, Coppèlia, Bayadere, The Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Raymonda and Don Quixote. She also obtained a Masters Degree in Art History.

Marina moved to London to  take part in professional dance projects and studied the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies and Certificate in Benesh Movement Notation at  The Royal Academy of Dance. She is an RAD registered teacher.

Jessica Chapman LRAD RTS BA Hons. Ballet Education

RAD Ballet Teacher

Jessica trained at her local dance school in Tunbridge Wells before gaining her Bachelors Degree and teaching qualifications at The Royal Academy of Dance. Jess has studied Ballet, National Dance, Tap, Freestyle, Contemporary, Jazz and Musical Theatre and Progressive Ballet Technique She has performed in showcases such as: “Performing with the Stars of Strictly Come Dancing”, “Her Majesty’s Young Performers”, and “Stars in the Round”.

Venetia-Rose Wainwright BA Hons Radio Production

Head Receptionist and Accounts

Venetia-Rose started training in dance at The Frances Lundy School of Dance and then went on to The Brit School for Performing Arts. She gained a Degree in Radio Production at Westminster University. Having worked in both radio and talent management, Venetia-Rose decided she would like to train in Accountancy and is now responsible for the day to day running of the studio.
